KP spending Rs15b on hydro power projects
ISLAMABAD – In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the provincial government is spending more than 15 billion rupees on construction of various hydro power projects. According to Radio Pakistan, a spokesman of KP Energy Development Organisation said that 250 hydro power projects had been completed while 106 projects are underway, which will be completed within next two months. These projects are being
constructed in Hazara and Malakand divisions which after completion will generate 40MW electricity.
