PML-N practicing mal-tradition of raising baseless allegation: Firdous
Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said, on Saturday that PML-N was practicing the mal-tradition of raising baseless allegation of vote rigging in Daska’s by-election.
Dr Firdous added that all results were send by presiding officers to returning officers via WhatsApp. In accordance with the released results so far, she said PTI’s Ali Asajd Malhi got 110957 votes while PML-N Nosheen Iftikhar got 101879 votes.
She further said, “We have reservations regarding returning officer as he is from the constituency of Ahsan Iqbal while DMO is from the constituency of Khawaja Saad Rafique.”
Minister of Information questioned, If RO had received 45 forms then why he did not announce the result?
She said that institutions would not be allowed to show biasness to any party rather it would be facilitated so that a democratic role play could be ensured.
