Pakistan marks Earth Hour
ISLAMABAD – Like other parts of the world, the annual Earth Hour was observed in Pakistan on Saturday.
The lights of Prime Minister House were switched off from 2030 to 2130 hours. Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan said improving the environmental conditions is the top priority of the government and asked the public to fully support government to protect the environment.
Every year, millions of people across the globe turn off the lights between for an hour on the last Saturday in March and this annual tradition is known as ‘Earth Hour’. The goal of this activity is to spread awareness about sustainability and climate change
