11,928 individuals, commercial units fined over corona SOPs violations
peshawar – In order to ensure strict enforcement of COVID-19 SOPs as per the directions from the NCOC, the district administrations across KP fined 11928 individuals and commercial units with Rs332,189 during the last 24 hours.
According to a report, warnings were issued to 3,497 persons with registration of FIRs while 523 business units were fined heavily and 480 were sealed.
Meanwhile, Chief Secretary KP urged the masses to ensure implementation of corona SOPs in vital interest of all and use face mask, hand sanitizers and gloves during interaction with others and wash their hands with soaps from time to time in order to prevent the spread of infectious coronavirus.
He also directed all district officers to ensure implementation of corona SOPs in letter and spirit
Sec 144 imposed in Dir to observe corona SOPs
Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Aon Haider Gonal Sunday imposed section 144 in district Dir Payan to strictly observe corona SOPs.
Under section 144 all markets would remain closed from 6pm till Sehri except medical stores, tandoors, bakery, general stores, petrol pumps, hotels’ take away and vaccination centres, said a notification issued here.
All in-door and out-doors services by the hotels and all cultural programmes and in-door and out-door activities would be banned during the period.
All public and private educational institutions would remain closed till further order while use of face masks would be mandatory by the general public. The violators would be dealt under section 188.
