Two members of inter-district gang nabbed

BAHAWALPUR  – CIA and district police  in a joint successful operation arrested two members of inter-district gang involved in motorcycle theft here on Wednesday.

Stolen motorcycles worth millions of rupees were recovered and handed over to the owners.

DPO appreciated police performance  and applauded and said that all SHOs should also improve their performance, only paperwork will not work, we are accountable to the people.

 According to details, Inspector General of Police Punjab Inam Ghani and Additional Inspector General of Police South Punjab Capt (retired), Zafar Iqbal Awan following instructions from District Police Officer Muhammad Faisal Kamran to improve performance in Crimes Against Property Cases.  

In a joint operation, the CIA and the district police traced and arrested 02 inter-district gangs involved in motorcycle theft, which were wanted not only in Bahawalpur but also in other districts of Punjab, including Sohail Khan alias Kana, Sajjad alias Yaseen alias Gonga.

While the arrested accused include Ali Arsalan, Muhammad Sohail, Muhammad Osama, Muhammad Sajjad on whose identification 22 motorcycles worth millions of rupees were recovered, which were handed over to the owners after legal procedure.
