Ulemas to preach social issues under light of Islam: President

The President of Pakistan Arif Alvi, on Monday, urged the Ulemas to preach social issues under the light of Islam nationwide.

While addressing the Ulemas delegation led by Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad in Islamabad, he said Islam is the only religion that gives female citizens the right to inheritance.

Moreover, talking about the contribution of Ulema, he said they must preach to the public about the negative impact of the growing population and health issues.

Paying tribute to the rendered services by Ulema during the outbreak of COVID-19, President Alvi stressed the promotion of inter-faith and inter-religion harmony across the country.
