Northern beat Balochistan by six wickets in the opening match of the National T20 in Rawalpindi.

Playing first, Balochistan made 139 runs with the help of Amad Butt’s (34) and Abdul Bangalzai’s (24) in 20 overs.

Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf was the pick of the Northern bowlers who took wickets for just 17 runs in his 3.5 overs. Spinner Mohammad Nawaz ended with figures of 31-2.

In response, Northern easily chased the whole score with the loss of 4 wickets. Haider Ali scored 58 runs on 41 balls and remained a top scorer.

For Balochistan, Akif Javed, Amad Butt, Yasir Shah, and Kashif Bhatti claimed one wicket each.
