India yet to respond to Pak decision to allow New Delhi aid to Afghanistan
ISLAMABAD – The government of India has not yet responded to the decision of the government of Pakistan which permitted transportation of 50,000 tons of wheat and medicine to Afghanistan via Wagha border.
Pakistan conveyed its decision to India on 4th December during a meeting with acting Indian high commissioner to Pakistan at the foreign office.
According to a source, Pakistan has sent a reminder to India for conveying early response on the decision of Pakistan.
The Pakistani cabinet earlier approved the decision on humanitarian grounds for brotherly people of Afghanistan.
The transportation of fifty thousand metric tons of wheat was allowed to be transported by Afghan trucks from the Wagha border between Pakistan and India to Afghanistan via the Torkham border.
