IGP Punjab transfers two SPs

Rawalpindi   –  Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan issued transfer and posting orders of two superintendents of police, informed sources on Monday.

According to sources, the provincial police chief has posted Rana Abdul Wahab (PSP/BS-18) as new Superintendent of Police (SP) Potohar Division against an existing vacancy. Similarly, Babar Javed Joya (PSP/BS-18), who was serving SP Security Rawalpindi, was transferred and posted as Additional SP Rawal Division against an existing vacancy, they said. A notification has also been issued in this regard. The both newly appointed police officers have assumed their charge.  ASP Maham Khan, who was serving as ASP Kabir Wala was transferred and posted as new SDPO New Town Circle by the IGP Punjab.
