Wapda claim seven gold medals in wrestling competitions

LAHORE  –   WAPDA’s wrestlers showed their physical strength and power during the two-day national wrestling fixture and got top position. Army spotted on second place while Railways remained third and hosts Higher Education Commission (HEC) claimed fourth position. Naseem Ahmed, Vice Chancellor, University of Veterinary Sciences; Javed Memon, Director Sports, Higher Education and Chaudhry Mohammad Mubeen, President, Pakistan Wrestling Federation (PWF) were the special guests. Overall, Wapda won seven gold, one silver, one bronze and Army secured six silver and four bronze medals. At the end, the players and former wrestlers appreciated the management of the University of Veterinary Sciences for the excellent organization of the championship.
