Tevta DG Mustafa Kamal Pasha retires
LAHORE – Tevta Director General Mustafa Kamal Pasha has retired after attaining superannuation and serving 30 years as a media manager. He started his career in 1991 as Public Relations & Media Professional at Lahore Stock Exchange (G) Limited. He attained mastery here in capital market operations & role of capital market in the development of national economy. He took active interest in the implementation of Asian Development Bank, Capital Market Reform Programme worth $ 250 million. After serving here for a decade he moved to telecom sector. Serving as Dy. Secretary/Media Consultant at PTCL and Head of Public Relations Department at Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA), he switched over to Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Punjab in 2006 and established PR & Communication Department here. After serving here to promote and strengthen communication & publication department for 15 years, he stands retired. He served here with public sector professional bureaucrats like Khalid Mahmood (Federal Secretary & Chairman PCB), Saeed Alvi (Federal Secretary) General Shahzada Alam Malik (founder of National Communication Organization of defense forces of Pakistan) and legends of private sector like Mohsin Syed (management expert) Arif Saeed (industrialist) and visionary young management/political leader Ali Salman Siddique. He managed with these public & private sector legends to translate their vision about TVET Sector into reality. Mustafa Kamal Pasha is also a writer, researcher, translator and analyst besides a media management expert. A number of twelve books, hundreds of articles, features and analyses are at his credit. He plans to join full time journalism to contribute for nation building as his new career.
