Work on three BoR schemes reviewed

SARGODHA – Depuy Commissioner Muham­mad Asghar Joyia on Wednes­day chaired a meeting in which the pace of work on ongoing schemes of Board of Revenue in the district was reviewed.

The meeting was informed that the work was underway on three different schemes of Board of Revenue including construc­tion of record room in the district court, construction of new depu­ty commissioner complex and renovation of commissioner’s office. On the occasion, the meet­ing was given a detailed briefing by the building department on the total cost of these projects, the expenditure incurred so far and future plans for completion.

The DC directed to complete the three ongoing schemes on time and not to compromise on quality. The meeting was attended by Axen Building Badar Sultan, Deputy Di­rector Development Waqas Ranjha and ADC Finance and Planning Shoaib Niswana among others.

17 cops recommended for promotion

Meanwhile, a meeting of Depart­mental Promotion Recommenda­tion Committee chaired by RPO Sargodha Region DIG Muhammad Faisal Rana was held at RPO Office on Wednesday. The meeting was attended by DPO Sargodha Dr Mu­hammad Rizwan, DSPRIB Azhar Yaqoob and Assistant Director RPO Office. The meeting recom­mended the promotion of 17 con­stables listed in the list C2 of Dis­trict Police Sargodha to the rank of Head Constable. RPO Muham­mad Faisal Rana said that every provision of police rules regarding promotion in the departmental promotion recommendation com­mittee had been implemented.

4 HELD FOR AERIAL FIRING

Police arrested four people on the charge of aerial firing in a wedding ceremony and recov­ered illegal weapons from their possession. Kotmomin police said on Wednesday that accused identified as Nadeem, Aleem, Ta­hir and Faryad resorted to aerial firing in jubilation at a wedding ceremony in Chak No 11-SB.
