MPA Bilal Yasin injured in gun attack

LAHORE – Punjab Assembly Member and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Bilal Yasin was wounded in a gun attack near Mohni Road, police said Friday.

According to the police, MPA Bilal Yasin was on his way when some unidentified men, riding on a motorcycle, opened straight fire at him. Resultantly, he received two bullets, one in the stomach and other in the leg. He was shifted to Mayo Hospital for medical treatment, where his condition was said to be out of danger.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar took notice of the incident and ordered Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) to submit a report and arrest the culprits at the earliest. He also directed to provide best medical treatment to the injured.
