PU’s Khanspur Campus turned into relief camp

LAHORE   –   On the directions of Punjab University (PU) Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof Niaz Ahmad, PU’s Khanspur Campus has been turned into a relief camp to provide shelter to the stranded people in the area. In his tweet on Sunday, VC Prof Dr Niaz Ahmad said that the people facing difficulties in the area could reside and avail other services at Khanspur Campus free of cost. He said that the staff of the campus had also been instructed to extend maximum help to the people. He also prayed for rest of the departed souls in eternal peace and extended condolences to the families of those died in Murree tragedy. The PU VC appreciated rescue and relief efforts of Pakistan Army, police and other institutions.
