DC reviews measures for virus vaccination in educational institutions

HYDERABAD   –  Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Tashfeen Alam on Saturday presided over a meeting to review arrangements made for inoculating anti-corona vaccine to students in educational institutions. 

According to a hand out issued by the District Information office, the DC said that administering corona vaccine was our collective responsibility and technical work was the duty of the Health Department, however, the Education Department and district administration also assist in this regard. The DC said that all children aged from 12 years or above will be administered corona vaccine from 17 January to protect the lives of children from deadly virus. He directed to seal the educational institution not cooperating with the Health Department, however complaints could be lodged about poor performance of immunization teams to the District Health Office or DC office.  The DC directed officers of Health Department and heads of private educational institutions to cooperate with teams constituted for administering vaccines. 

Officers of educational institutions on the occasion, shared details of children who have so far been administered corona vaccine and assured their cooperation in the upcoming corona vaccination campaign.

IT training for SZAB Agriculture College faculty concludes

The weeklong Information Technology training for faculty members was concluded at SZAB Agriculture College Dokri with distribution of certificates by Principal Dr Allah Wadhayo Gandahi.

The spokesman informed here on Saturday that the training programme was attended by teachers from different departments of the college. Addressing the participants, Dr. Allah Warayo Gandahi said that Information technology has great importance in modern agricultural education and conducting research and technology-related interactions with experts and educational institutions around the world. He informed that this training for the faculty of college was conducted in collaboration with Sindh Agriculture University Tando Jam.

 Expressing their views Professor Dr. Faiz Shaikh, Prof. Dr. Sultan Ahmed Maitlo, Abdul Hameed Memon, Mohammad Ali Sangi, Dr. Hanan Buriro, Dr  Shahnwaz Khuhro and Waqar Pahore, appreciated the efforts of Vice Chancellor Sindh Agriculture University Dr. Fateh Mohammad Marri and Principal Dr. Allah Wadhayo Gandahi for human resource development and providing them training opportunities.

 The IT expert Arif Hussain Magsi conducted the training for teachers on current and essential IT techniques.
