Police file FIR as shots fired at artistes’ vehicle

LAHORE   –  Faisalabad police have registered a case against unidentified accused for opening fire on the vehicle of artistes – Naseem Vicky and Agha Majid – on January 20. Both artistes remained safe in the firing. Naseem Vicky met Faisalabad CPO Ghulam Mubashir Mekan in his office. The CPO informed that special teams had been formed to search and arrest the suspects. He said that artistes were a valuable asset to the country and their protection was one of priorities of the police.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar took notice of the incident and sought a report from Faisalabad regional police officer (RPO).
