Funds available for timely completion of uplift projects in Khanewal:DC

KHANEWAL - Deputy Commissioner Salman Khan Lodhi has said that the Punjab government has provided ample funds for the timely completion of development projects in Khanewal district.  Salman Khan said that the use of good quality materials in all development projects should be ensured.

He said this while inspecting the development projects in Kabirwala Tehsil.   He was accompanied by Deputy Director Development Shahid Rehman, CEO Health Dr. Abdul Majeed Bhatti, officials from Buildings and Highways Department. DC Salman Khan also visited BHU ,5 Kassi &  Baloch to inspect the rehabilitation and upgradation work at a cost of 80.5Million rupees, and directed XEN Buildings to expedite work on the projects and use good quality materials.

Deputy Commissioner also inspected under construction road of Inayatpur to N5 ,which will be completed with 50.0 million rupees. During the inspection of the road work under construction, the quality of the material was also checked by digging the road under his supervision.

In both BHUs DC also inspected the health facilities at and checked the stock of medicines available in BHUs .Deputy commissioner also attended the ongoing training session of polio workers at the hospital and checked the field corona vaccination teams working in the primary school.

He talked to the teachers about the inspection of Insaf Evening School in Korai Baloch and checked the attendance of the students.  He further said that the construction of government hospitals in remote areas would provide cheap and speedy treatment to the people at their doorsteps. DC urged the teams to ensure achievement of polio and corona vaccines at every cost.
