LAHORE - Ahmed Zafar Hayat and his proficient wife Tehmina Ahmed won the 3rd Hi-Tech Couples Golf Tournament 2022 here at Royal Palm Golf. In the gross section, the runner-up couple was Mr and Mrs Nasir Mehmood and third gross position was secured by Mr and Mrs Moazzam Ali Shah. In the race for net honors, the outstanding couple was Justice Abid Aziz and Minaa Zainab. The runner-up net couple was Mr and Mrs Ahsan Naqvi and third net went to Mr and Mrs Irfanul Haq. In the invitational category for men amateurs, contested on stroke play format, the front runner in net section of handicap category 0-12 turned out to be Hamid Sharif with net 70. Asif Mehdi finished second with net 71 and Zafar Iqbal third with net 74. In handicap category 13-24, the best net winner was Hassan Naseem while Mian Ahmed was second and Sohail Ch third. Longest drive winner was Asjad Saeed and nearest to the pin went to Dr Rubab Haider. Dr M Arshed of Hi-Tech Rice Mills distributed prizes among the winners.
