Tower 21 Polo Super League 2022 rolls into action

LAHORE - The 4-goal Tower 21 Polo Super League rolled into action on Tuesday here at Lahore Polo Club ground, as two matches were played on the opening day. The first match of the day saw Remington Stars overpowering The Eagles by 8½-3. For Remington Stars, hero Hamza Mawaz Khan smashed in superb six goals and Hussain Monnoo and Bilal Noon converted one each. For The Eagles, Ahmed Bilal Riaz, Ali Fareed and Hashim Kamal Agha hit one goal apiece. The second match of the opening day saw Platinum Homes Tigers beating ZS Lions Team by 4-3. For Platinum Homes, Aleem Tiwana hammered a hat-trick and Atif Tiwana struck one. For ZS Lions, Col Omer Minhas, Agha Musa and Farasat Ali Chatha hit one each. According to Lahore Polo Club Secretary Agha Murtaza Ali Khan, this three-week long polo series will be participated by top five teams including The Eagles, Remington Stars, Platinum Homes Tigers, Zacky Reapers and ZS Lions.
