LAHORE -Punjab wrestlers dominated the 6-team Wrestling event with 10 gold medals in as many fights here at NPSC Gymnasium Hall on Friday. Punjab’s Hassan Ali grabbed gold in 57kg category, Aqash in 61kg, M Abdullah in 65kg, M Ahmed in 70kg, M Sharif Tahir in 74kg, Hamza Butt in 79kg, Gulzar in 86kg, Saif Ullah Khan in 92kg, Haider Ali Butt in 97kg while Abdul Hameed claimed gold in 125kg category fight. In kabaddi event, Gilgit Baltistan beat Balochistan by 22-20 and Sindh edged out Azad Kashmir by 22-17 at Punjab Stadium. The final of the kabaddi will be played between Punjab and KP at 1pm at the same venue. In hockey event, Punjab beat Balochistan 2-1 in the first semifinal while Sindh edged out KP 1-0 in the second semifinal.
