KARACHI - First and unique exhibition begins at State Bank of Pakistan’s museum on Saturday, which will continue till March 31. The exhibition, inaugurated by SBP Governor Dr. Reza Baqir, showcases the innovative projects to elicit the theme ‘Our Shared Cultural Heritage,’ said SBP statement. The exhibition is being held in collaboration with International Museums, the University of Karachi and with the assistance of British Council. It will witness presence of a team from Manchester Museum UK, including Heritage Specialist, Juliet Dean. SBP Governor, in his speech, said that he believed there was a strong case to be made that museums were more relevant today than they ever had been. From addressing key social issues to transforming how we see the future, the humble museums had the power to reflect and shape our society.
