Peshawar - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission (KP HCC) in its anti-quackery campaign inspected different healthcare establishments to ensure quality healthcare services.
The KP HCC inspection teams carried out inspection of 104 Healthcare Establishments (HCEs) in district Swabi, Malakand, Haripur, Mansehra and Swat of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Six healthcare establishments were sealed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa HCC due to different malpractices, unhygienic conditions, lack of qualified staff, keeping expired kits and collection tubes and lack of proper waste disposal management system, etc.
Similarly, 40 show-cause notices were issued to the HCEs due to non-compliance and required directions were issued by the inspection teams.
