PM involved in conspiracy to divide nation, Shehbaz hits back at Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD - Opposition Leader in National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday hit back at Prime Minister Imran Khan over his allegations that opposition was part of a ‘foreign conspiracy’ to topple his government through a no-confidence motion.

Addressing the media in Islamabad, Shehbaz said the PM was not ready to accept his defeat, and was involved in a ‘conspiracy’ to divide the nation.

“The opposition will bury Imran Khan’s undemocratic thinking as per the constitutional means. He will be held responsible for hurling threats,” he remarked. The PML-N leader said that PM Khan was provoking his supporters and ‘henchmen’ against opposition leaders, and added that all lawmakers have the right to vote. I hope that the right to vote will be given as per the decision of the Supreme Court, he added.

Imran Khan should be arrested, booked for provocation, sedition, says Maryam

Meanwhile, PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz Sharif warned that those of PTI who resort to violence or create a law and order situation should be arrested and thrown behind bars including Imran Khan included. “IK should be booked for provocation, incitement & sedition. Will be Insha’Allah. None of them should be spared,” she tweeted. “Whatever IK is doing today will only add to the dossier & charge sheet against him. The list is getting longer & longer. He is inviting woes & miseries for himself &his people. Will have to pay through his nose for every word he says today. Insha’Allah. Phir na kehna bataya nahi!”
