ATTOCK - Full proof security will be provided to the Sikh pilgrims coming to Gurdwara Punja Sahib Hasanabdal in connection with Besakhi Mela commencing on 10th April, said DC Attock Muhammad Naeem Sindhu and DPO Attock Rana Shoaib Mahmood during a meeting.
The meeting was attended by AC Hasanabdal, DSP Hasanabdal, SHOs, Evacuee Trust Property Board Officers, IESCO, Railways and Rescue 1122 officers. Issues related to security, boarding and messing of the Sikh Pilgrims were discussed besides smooth flow of traffic, uninterrupted provision of power supply, availability of stand by generators and other facilities were also discussed during the meeting and the concerned officers were directed to ensure all the facilities.
Every year a large number of Sikhs from Pakistan, India, other countries participate in the Besakhi Mela celebrated at Gurdwara Punja Sahib in April.
