PM says won’t accept ‘imported govt’

ISLAMABAD  -  Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he will never accept any “imported government” in Pakistan and called upon masses to come out to streets to hold peaceful protests across the country tomorrow against the alleged foreign conspiracy to dislodge his government.

“I am ready to carry out a struggle to protect democracy and sovereignty of Pakistan on roads along with people,” PM Imran Khan said in his late night live address to the nation.

The PM in his address openly named the United State for its alleged role behind the  conspiracy  for regime change.

He said in fact Pakistan Ambassador to United States sent an official communication to Foreign Office which quoted a senior US official that as long as Prime Minister Imran Khan remains in power Pakistan would have to face difficult time ahead, however, if Imran Khan is removed then Pakistan could be pardoned and there could be improvement in bilateral relations between Pakistan and USA.

Imran Khan said due to secret codes of the official message the official communication could not be made public, otherwise he was ready to show the document to the public.

He said that according to the letter, the US official clearly told the Pakistan Ambassador that Prime Minister Imran Khan should not have taken a visit to Russia.

The PM put the case before public and said, “are we ready to spend  time as subjugated  nation?”

Imran Khan without giving any strategy for today’s session of the national assembly, which would take up the no-confidence motion against him, said joint opposition and Shahbaz Sharif have accepted foreign dictation which was why they are being installed as “puppet rulers” in Pakistan.

The prime minister accused Western powers, particularly the United States, that at the time of need they use Pakistan like tissue paper and dispose it of after use.

Referring to the Supreme Court decision on no-confidence motion, the PM expressed disappointment. He, however, said he accepted the decision.

Imran Khan said he was surprised that the Supreme Court did not look into the foreign conspiracy aspect of the no-confidence motion.

“At least the Supreme Court could have looked into the foreign communication which was meant to regime change in Pakistan”, said the PM.

He said he was also expecting judiciary that it would take suo moto of the alleged open horse trading of the members of the national assembly.

Mr Khan said the public is watching the political theatre in Pakistan which never happens in Western democracies.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said the West has his complete profile adding that he was against the war in Iraq, he was against drone strikes in Pakistan, he was against military operation in Afghanistan.

“They (opposition) are coming to power so that they could accept their (West) orders”, the Prime Minister said

He said Pakistani nation has to decide that whether it has to maintain independent foreign policy or controlled foreign policy.

He urged the youth to stand up and support him in defending sovereignty and democracy in Pakistan. He called upon the youth to organize peaceful protest demonstrations across Pakistan on Sunday against this alleged conspiracy.

Imran Khan said Pakistan is a strong nation of 220 million people and no power can dictate us.

He said they (opposition) want to overthrow the government in Pakistan just to hide their corruption and looted wealth stashed abroad. He said after coming into power, the opposition would get its new NRO to quash all corruption cases against them.
