ISLAMABAD - The Cabinet Division has denotified Imran Khan as Prime Minister of Pakistan after the no-confidence motion against him was adopted with 174 votes on early Saturday morning in the National Assembly.
The notification issued with the signature of Additional Secretary Cabinet Division Eazaz A Dar says in pursuance of the national assembly notification No. F.16(1)2022 Legis, Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi ceased to hold the office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan in terms of article 95(4) of the constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan with immediate effect.
The Cabinet Division has also denotified all federal ministers and ministers of state, advisers and special assistants to the prime minister and said they cease to hold their offices.
