LAHORE   -  Sardar Usman Ahmad Buzdar who continues to act as the Chief Minister amid constitutional crisis in Punjab, huddled up with former ministers of his cabinet on Tuesday to discuss the political situation and the constitutional and legal issues.

Raja Basharat, Mian Mahmood ur Rasheed, Sibtain Khan and Dr Yasmeen Rashid were among the ex-ministers who met with Usman Buzdar as they exchanged views on a host of issues.

Talking on this occasion, Buzdar asserted that everything would be done in accordance with the law and constitution in the province of Punjab.

“The constitution is supreme for us. Everyone will have to play a positive role in the development and prosperity of the country,” he emphasised and added that the PTI leaders remained engrossed in public-centric politics. He said that everything possible for the public welfare and development of the province. “I believe in political suavity and have always followed the constitution and the law,” he further said.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Secretary on Tuesday transferred Principal Secretary to CM, Mohammad Aamir Jan and posted him as Secretary youth affairs and sports department. Aamir Jan has been a trusted officer of Usman Buzdar as he belonged to the famous TK group (Tahir Khurshid group) of bureaucrats in Punjab. Tahir Khurshid served as Principal Secretary to the CM before his positing as finance secretary six months back. His services have now been placed at the disposal of the federal government on the directions of Prime Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif. Nabeel Ahmad Awan awaiting posting in the S&GAD has been posted as Principal Secretary to the CM on the orders of the Chief Secretary.
