LAHORE - Apropos some speculative media reports challenging the domain of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to initiate an inquiry against Farah Khan, it has been clarified that the lawful jurisdiction of NAB empowers it to initiate an inquiry / investigation against any former public office holder or his family members in view of allegedly accumulating assets beyond known sources of income.

According to the NAB’s clarification, the spouse of   Farah Khan named   Ahsan Jameel Gujjar remained   District Council’s chairman of district Gujranwala between 1997 to 1999.
