ISLAMABAD - The KSE 100-index of the PSX lost 15.25 points on Wednesday, a nominal negative change of 0.04 percent, closing at 41,553.16 points against 41,568.41 points on the last working day. A total of 151,126,094 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 157,436,585 shares the previous day, whereas the price of shares stood at Rs.4.487 billion against Rs. 4.224 billion on last trading day. As many as 321 companies transacted shares in the stock market,137 of them recorded gain and 158 sustained losses, whereas the share price of 2 companies remained unchanged. The three top trading companies were Unity Food Ltd with a volume of 11,825,457 shares and price per share of Rs.20.45, DG Khan Cement with volume of 9,623,374 and price per share of Rs.56.13 and Oilboy Energy (R ) with volume of 8,256,000 and price per share of Rs.2.77. Rafhan Maize witnessed a maximum increase of Rs.155 per share, closing at Rs.9,955 whereas the runner up was Nestle Pakistan, the share prices of which climbed up by Rs.149.98 to Rs5,800. Sapphire Fiber witnessed maximum decrease of Rs49 closing at Rs1,100 followed by Indus Motor Co, the share price of which declined by Rs28.70 to close at Rs.1,198.50.
