ILF chief accuses PTI of biased decisions
Swabi – President of Insaf Lawyers Forum (ILF) Ahmad Ali Advocate, also a former president of District Bar Association Swabi, criticised his own party PTI over reported biased selection of 54 coordinators in the district.
According to local sources, Ahmad Ali Advocate had joined Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf in 1997 along with several other founding members. Speaking to journalists, he said they were ignored in the selection of 54 coordinators in Swabi district.
“A few leaders once again failed to meet the expectations of genuine workers and the coordinator posts once again were given to those who used who work for their own interests in the past,” he added.
He also said that union councils of Asota, Shewa Parmuli and Naranji and various others were totally ignored and the entire affairs of the party were being dominated by a few leaders who failed to give preference to the expectations as well as the contributions of the party workers.
Flanked by other leaders, Ahmad Ali advocate also said that they rejected the nominees and demanded reconsideration on the selections, and also appealed to former prime minister Imran Khan to take notice of the issue in Swabi.
