Four FC men killed in attack, blast

QUETTA - Three security personnel were killed and a bus driver injured in an armed attack by unknown armed men in Hub town late on Sunday night. According to reports reaching here, the FC men were on their way to Hub when two armed men riding a motorbike opened indiscriminate fire on the official vehicle. As a result, three soldiers died at the spot while bus driver suffered injuries. Soon after the incident, police and officials of other law enforcement agencies rushed to the site and removed the bodies to the civil hospital. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed the responsibility for the attack. Meanwhile, a personnel of Frontier Corps was killed in a landmine explosion while miscreants exploded main gas supply line in Dera Bugti on Sunday. The Frontier Corps personnel were on patrolling in a vehicle that rolled on a landmine in Sangseela area of Dera Bugti. As a result, one personnel sustained injuries. He succumbed to his injuries on his way to hospital. He was identified as Rahmatullah. Meanwhile, miscreants exploded 18-inch diameter gas pipeline at Loti Gas Field with explosives. As a result, the gas supply was suspended from Loti Gas Field to Sui Plant. Some unknown persons hurled a home made bomb in city police station in Quetta in broad day light and escaped. The bomb land in the premises of the police station and exploded with a heavy bang, damaging three impounded vehicles. However no one was hurt in the explosion. The Baloch Liberation Army claimed the responsibility for bomb attack on police station.
