KARACHI At least 11 students of Karachi University got injured when a clash erupted between activists of two student organisations here on Wednesday. The students freely used iron and wooden rods when a clash broke out in the arts lobby of social science, leaving 11 students injured. According to details, two group of student organisation on Wednesday made the campus a battleground where both organisations attacked on each other with with empty bottles and iron and wooden sticks. Interestingly, the clash started in front of Rangers personal who were permanently deployed in Karachi University in order to avoid any unlawful activities in the campus and when the neutral students asked to stop the clash. The duty officer of Mubina Town Police Station, when contacted, informed that at least 11 people sustained wounds and shifted to private hospital and Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment, however no one wanted to register the case against another party.
