At least fifteen people were killed and more than 30 injured in an explosion in Karachis Ghasmandi area on Thursday. Police sources said a powerful blast took place inside Rami Club in Ghas Mandi area at Lyari Town. Rescue workers said more than 30 injured and fifteen dead bodies had been shifted to Jinnah and Civil hospitals, of them eight died of injuries before reaching the hospitals. Officials said the blast, which occurred outside a gambling club, may have been caused by a hand grenade used in a clash between some criminal groups. Police and rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the injured to hospitals.
