RAWALPINDI (INP) - A special Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has indicted 21 persons, including chief cleric of Lal Masjid, Maulana Abdul Aziz and his family in murder charges of Rangers officials here on Wednesday. Maulana Aziz and his family were produced before ATC judge Malik Muhammad Akram Awan in murder charges of Rangers officials. The court indicted Maulana Aziz alongwith 21 others, including his wife Umme Hassan and his daughter Tayyaba, in a case involving the murder of Rangers officials during the 2007 Lal Masjid operation. The court adjourned the hearing until May 3. An armed operation was launched on the Lal Masjid in Islamabad on the morning of July 3 and it went on until July 11. The Lal Masjid was headed by Maulana Aziz and his brother Abdul Rashid Ghazi who was killed during operation.
