PTI not to be part of national setup

LAHORE - PTI chief Imran Khan has announced that his party would not become part in the proposed national set up. Addressing a press conference along with other party leaders on Wednesday, he said he would never compromise on principles. Imran while inviting all the political forces to take part in his partys sit-in to block the route of Nato supplies in Peshawar on April 23 and 24 warned the government of creating hurdles in PTIs move to free the country from Wests slavery. Putting responsibility on the rulers for the killings of the innocent people including children in drone attacks, he said that the sincere political forces should join him to cut the supply route of western allied forces for Afghanistan. Rulers have criminally keeping a blind eye over the massacre of innocent civilians in the drone attacks, when the entire nation was strongly condemning these attacks, he added. He said that corruption scandals surfaced through media in Nato supplies clearly reflects the intentions of the rulers. Imran said the PTI sit-in would be historic and hoped that nearly 20,000 activists only from his party would participate in the demonstration alone, besides participation from other political forces and members of various segments of society. To a question, he said that he criticised Musharraf when he was in power, while in a democratic set up, it was the elected government which was responsible for drone attacks. Replying to another query, he, while coming hard on PML-N government alleged that the leadership of the PML-N was the creation of General Jilani and they could not fool the masses.
