NORTH WAZIRISTAN/PESHAWAR - Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan says it has imparted training to a large number of 'suicide bombers and sent many of them to various destinations to target the places they have been assigned. TTP spokesman Shakirullah Shakir told TheNation that the boy arrested on the charge of attacking Sakhi Sarwar shrine in Dera Ghazi Khan some days ago belonged to the militant organization. Over 40 people had been killed in the attack. Umar Fidayee, in his teens, was arrested when his suicide jacket went off near the shrine. He was seriously injured. He had made startling disclosures to the police investigators. Fidayee had said that the TTP was training some 350 suicide bombers in Mir Ali. The TTP spokesman said Fidayee was absolutely right in his claim. However, he did not give more details. Shakirullah Shakir also said the suicide bombers had been given various targets to hit and they had already left for their destinations. But, he would not identify the spots that are likely to be targeted. He said TTPs Fidayeen-e-Islam Group was carrying out various activities. Regarding training camps, he said that it was true that they have training camps in North Waziristan, where more bombers were being trained.
