ISLAMABAD  – Students of federal government schools (FGS) and their parents have protested against change in syllabus.
The change in the syllabus of class 5th has caused embarrassment among the students as they have already spent one month  studying old syllabus.
“This is anti poor people act of the government as we all are from low paid class of employees. We already purchased books for our children at high cost and after one month the decision to change the syllabus has been taken. This will be unbearable for us as we can not afford to purchase new syllabus within our meager salaries, said Muhammad Ali, Naib Qasid in some private organization.
“Our classes were started one month earlier and we have completed a considerable part of our syllabus and now we have been asked that syllabus of English, Urdu and Islamiat have been changed and new books be purchased, complained a group of students.
The students and their parents demanded the government should arrange on its own to provide books of new syllabus.
