LAHORE – The City received scattered rain on Friday with experts predicting cloudy weather, dust raising winds and more rains during the next 24 hours.

The rain, overcast and windy conditions helped maintaining the mercury to a low level, making weather pleasant.

The prevailing weather condition due to a strong westerly wave has already delayed the onset of summer, making weather pleasant but also delaying wheat harvest in the province.

“Westerly wave has given a good rainfall in parts of the country. Persistent incursions have caused the mercury to drop below normal level and delay onset of summer. At present, maximum and minimum temperature is 2 degree Celsius below normal level.
