PNCA holds singing competition



ISLAMABAD  - Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) here Friday organised Inter-University and Collegiate Singing Competition with participation of 25 selected singers from Talent Hunt Programme.
Over 80 budding singers gave auditions to participate in the competition while 25 were selected for their outstanding performance. Top three position holders in classical, semi classical, folk and popular Pakistani music were awarded with PNCA Talent Award. Terized the audience with their skills of singing pop, classical and folk music of Pakistan in contemporary and traditional styles. The event was organized in collaboration with Ministry of National Heritage and Integration.

 as a regular part of PNCA’s activities that focus on educating youth about the cultural values and explore their hidden talent.
The Talent Hunt Programme of PNCA organize workshops in the field of art, music, drama and other performing arts while the participants of these workshops are given opportunity to perform and showcase their talent at national level in various programmes, said an official of PNCA while talking to APP here Friday.
