ISLAMABAD - Jigme Thinley, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bhutan, will inaugurate the SAARC CCI Youth Convention under the theme “Light Tomorrow with Today” which shall be followed by technical session to be held in Paro, Bhutan at Hotel Zhiwaling on Saturday (today), says a Press release.

Vikramjit Singh Sahney, President SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SAARC CCI), will deliver the keynote address at the inaugural session of the convention. The convention will specially focus on the promising and prospective young entrepreneurs as well as women entrepreneurs of the region with a view to ensuring their greater participation in the socio economic transformation of the region.

Other allied activities organized by SAARC CCI include Executive Committee meeting of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Conference on Climate Change and Energy Cooperation in South Asia, SAARC Chamber Women Entrepreneurs Council Convention: “Empowerment through Entrepreneurship” in collaboration with Bhutan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI) and supported by Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung für die Freiheit.

Ministry of Economic Affairs and Ministry of Agriculture & Forest, Royal Government of Bhutan & Minister for Power & Energy of Sri Lanka and more than 50 speakers and delegates from SAARC region have reached Paro to participate in the activities of SAARC CCI.
