Six held in raid on brothel

RAWALPINDI - Police busted a brothel house at Naseerabad on Friday and arrested six women and men involved in immoral activities.
Cases have been registered against the accused. According to Station House Officer (SHO) Police Station (PS) Westridge Chaudhry Jamil, police, on getting a tip-off, raided at a brothel house at Naseerabad being run by a woman.
The raiding police party nabbed 4 women and two men who were accused of making marry with one another, he said in addition with all the accused have been put behind the lockups after filing cases against them.

Later, police presented them in a court of law, which sent them to jail, SHO Jamil added.
Meanwhile, police claimed to have apprehended 19 drug peddlers and illegal arms holders during an action in different localities of the city. Police also recovered 2525 grams of Charas, 27 bottles of alcohol, 7 pistols of 30 bore with 41 bullets and Rs 10,000 cash. Police took up cases against the accused and launched investigation, informed police spokesman Inspector Raja Fayyaz.
