ISLAMABAD (PR): Turkish Ambassador Babur Hizlan has invited the students of Roots Millennium Schools (RMS) for the International Children Festival at Izmir, Turkey, from April 13-24, 2013.
This festival is hosted by the Turkish Radio & Television Corporation, also known as TRT, which is the national public broadcaster of the Republic of Turkey. Millennial Students from RMS Gujranwala, Peshawar and Mirpur are taking part in this festival and a delegation of 15 members including 12 students, two staff members and one media personnel for the media coverage have departed from Islamabad Airport on Saturday for this festival. They will be visiting Ankara and amusement places as well as they will be getting the opportunity to meet with the President of Republic of Turkey and other officials of Turkish government. It’s a great honour for Millennials to be selected for this festival as Roots Millennium Schools is the only educational institution being invited from Pakistan for this international festival.
The basic aim of this festival is to promote mutual understanding and cultural bonding between the children of different countries. Turkey has brotherly relations with Pakistan in response of which RMS delegation has been invited for this festival to strengthen this relationship of understanding and mutual collaboration. Roots Millennium Schools, Pakistan have dedicated the year 2013 to Pakistan-Turkey friendship and are enthusiastically working in close collaboration with both the Pakistan Embassy in Republic of Turkey and Turkish Embassy in Islamabad.
