LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Abu Hafaz, student of 7th class of Government High School Bhabra, Kot Momin Sargodha who won gold medal in international competition of mathematics, yesterday. Parents of the students, sister and school principal were also present on the occasion.

The chief minister gave a cheque of Rs0.5 million and a laptop to Abu Hafaz and said that Punjab government will bear all educational expenditure of Abu Hafaz in the country or abroad in future. He congratulated, Abu Hafaz, his parents, school principal, sister on winning gold medal and said that Abu Hafaz has win laurels for the country.

He said such intelligent students are our asset and they will be provided all out resources. He also gave laptop to Amama, sister of Abu Hafaz studying in 10th class and a prize of one lakh rupees to school principal. Talking the Abu Hafaz and his family members the chief minister said new generation is a guarantee to bright future. He said that Pakistani children are fully talented that is why our girl and boy students have proved their mettle at international level.

The chief minister said that talented students like Abu Hafaz are identity and assets of Pakistan. He said that Abu Hafaz, due to his hard work as well as of teachers and the prayers of parents, has won gold medal at international competition and raised the image of the country and the nation.

He said that Punjab government is implementing a comprehensive strategy for highlighting the capabilities of such industrious students and they are being fully encouraged.
