LAHORE: An upgraded state-of-the-art operation theater was inaugurated in a ceremony held at the Orthopedic Department of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital by Fatima Jinnah Medical University Vice Chancellor Dr Sardar Fakhar Imam here the other day.
Addressing the participants of the ceremony, Orthopedic Department’s Prof Yawar Anees said that with the inauguration of the start-of-the-art theatre, treatment like arthroscopic surgery will be offered free of cost to patients with sports injuries and other knee ailments.
He said that previously such treatment was only available in private hospitals or abroad which was not affordable for the common man.–Staff Reporter
Referring to the inauguration of the new orthopedic operation theatre, the VC said that there was a tremendous desire among the faculty members, the administration and others to work continuously to solve the patients’ problems.
