NOORPUR THAL: The Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) has started anti-encroachment drive here on Wednesday. The TMA staff removed encroachment from different roads within the radius of 3.5 km.
The TMA staff also removed push-carts from Kashmir Chowk demolished illegal constructions in front of different shops and pulled down various illegally structures.
On the occasion, talking to the mediamen, AC Ch Ali Atif Buttar said that a committee is monitoring the anti-encroachment campaign. “Our campaign is against both temporary and permanent encroachers. We are striving hard to ensure smooth flow of traffic in the city,” the AC expressed his resolve.
GOVT STRIVING HARD TO DEVELOP SCHOOLS: Monitoring Officer Malik Muhammad Rafique Rahdari paid a surprise visit to Government Girls elementary School Katimar here the other day. He inspected different classrooms, reviewed cleanliness and other facilities being provided to the teachers and students. He expressed his satisfaction over the cleanliness and performance of the teaching staff and educational facilities therein.–Staff Reporter
The headmistress Madam Amna apprised the Monitor Officer of the missing facilities and other problems being faced by the teaching staff.
Speaking on the occasion, Malik Rafique said that the government has striving hard to develop schools on latest lines and now the teachers needed to give their conventional methods and teach the students with new methods. He stressed upon the teachers to improve their capacity as the promotion of the teachers and schools heads was subject to result in new policy.
