In the past, I used to deposit the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) house-tax bill in the local NBP branch. The window where I would deposit this bill was located under a covered verandah of the RCB building. But the location of this window has changed since and now the house taxpayers are forced to stand in a long queue on the open footpath of the road between the RCB building and Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology. This is getting to be quite humiliating. Will the Cantonment Executive Officer be kind enough to save the law-abiding respectable taxpayers, including senior citizens, from this ordeal in all types of inclement weather?
