RAWALPINDI - The session of Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Majlis-e-Shura held under the chair of JI amir Dr Muhammad Kamal at Al-Ikram Building here on Wednesday. In this session various issues regarding organisational performance and present political situation of the country came under discussion. Besides this, many resolutions were presented by JI members, which were passed unanimously. The members of JI, during the session, demanded of the government to reinstate the deposed judges including Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to immediately stop the military operation at Swat and tribal areas, to bring former president Pervez Musharraf in court of law for his misdeeds and to decrease the prices of petroleum products following the prices of oil in international market. The immediate release of missing persons besides strict action against the responsible of selling of Dr Afia Siddiqui was also demanded in this session.
