QUETTA - Balochistan Governor Nawab Zulfiqar Magsi has submitted his resignation, however, it was not accepted so far. This was disclosed by Provincial Minister for Irrigation Sardar Muhammad Aslam Khan Bizenjo while talking to a group of newsmen. Zulfiqar Magsi was appointed as Governor on February 27. He had accepted this office with a resolve that he would utilise his energies for improvement of situation in province. But he had admitted on flag hoisting ceremony on August 14 that no improvement was made in the situation in Balochistan. Nawab Magsi had also told the journalists on this occasion that he was seriously considering to tender resignation. The rumours of his resignation was on rife on Wednesday in provincial metropolis. Bizenjo said that Nawab Zulfiqar Magsi had tendered his resignation three days ago. He said that so far it was not accepted. He said that he and many other MPAs had requested Asif Ali Zardari, the Co-Chairman of PPP for not accepting the resignation of Nawab Zulfiqar Magsi. Responding to question, he said that Nawab Zulfiqar Magsi was a man of principles. Nawab Zulfiqar Magsi was appointed by former President Pervez Musharraf.
