SADIQABAD - Police claimed to have arrested two of the six dacoits who earlier successfully looted Rs7.2 million in broad daylight from a private bank situated on the KLP Road here. The Taranda Muhammad Pannah, Khan Bayla check post and the Sheedani police followed the decoits. The criminals opened fire on the police team near Tahirwali. During an exchange of fire, one of the culprits got injured but was driven away by the decoits in their car. However, the police were able to arrest two of the bank looters. The arrested suspects were identified as Mohsin of Gari Khaira, Balochistan and Siddeeq Ahmed of Sadiqabad. It is pertinent to mention that five bank branches have so far been robbed in Rahim Yar Khan during the last five months and remained failed to arrest any robber involved in the robberies.
