Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi calls on his supporters to organize a million trek to set free the ruined cities, and put an end to rebellion in the country forever, he said in a message on state television on Sunday. "Their time is over, they run from town to town as rats," said Gaddafi. He said the rebels were responsible for suffering of the Libyan people and destruction of cities. Gaddafi traditionally called on his supporters to "go ahead". Gaddafi confirmed he was still in the Libyan capital Tripoli, which was rocked by blasts and gunfire on Saturday evening, according to the media. Al-Jazeera news network reported the uprising was initiated by the citizens themselves. Witnesses said, demonstrators came out to the streets of Tripoli demanding Gaddafi's overthrow. The rebels are sure the Gaddafi regime survives its last hours, while the government spokesman Moussa Ibrahim has said the situation was under control.
